where to get and how to plant seeds

In the epic vampire castle in V Rising, you will have the opportunity to grow various plants. When the plants are fully grown, you can collect them and use them in a variety of ways, including making useful potions. There are so many types of seeds in the game that it can be hard to keep track of them all. In this guide, we will cover each type of seed, as well as where you can get them.

In general, planting seeds is quite simple. Place the seed of your choice in the hotbar and then select it. An outline of the seed planting area will appear on the screen, which can now be placed on the ground. The seeds don’t need to be watered, so now all you have to do is wait. Now let’s take a quick look at all the seeds available in the game for planting.

Types of seeds in V Rising

Below are the plants that can grow from a seed placed in your castle.

  • Bloody rose
  • Fire flower
  • snow flower

You cannot grow your own plant fiber. This is the main resource that drops out when grass and bushes are destroyed. If you want to get more of this resource, you will have to go looking. Fortunately, there is quite a lot of plant fiber in the world.

For more information, be sure to check out our silver coin mining guide, which has a section on the location of each merchant.

Below you can look at the seeds available from each merchant.

These prices are for one seed only. This may not be possible if you have not collected the most Silver Coins. If you are low on coins, you can also kill the merchant; upon death, silver coins will fall from him, which you can loot and spend when he is resurrected.

Seeds from enemies

Like most items in V Rising, you can loot seeds from chests you find. As a rule, seeds can be found in the place where the plant usually grows. For example, Fire Flower Seeds can be found in Farbane Forest. This is not the most efficient way to get seeds, as it mostly relies on randomness.

Remember that chests respawn after a certain time, so you can return to the same area multiple times in search of seeds.

How to create a farm in V Rising

Once you have a few seeds, you can place them on the ground. These seeds will not need to be replanted; they will endlessly grow plants that you can collect. Most often, you will be harvesting from a plant, however, from time to time you can harvest other seeds.

Note: Seeds cannot be grown indoors or on the floor; you will have to place the seeds on the ground or grass. This means that they will be exposed to sunlight. Be careful collecting seeds during the daytime!

It is recommended to make a special “garden” in your castle, where you can place all your seeds. In the garden, all plants will be located close to each other, which will make harvesting easier.

That’s all there is to know about seeds in V Rising! In general, managing your farm is pretty easy, just remember to harvest fully grown plants so they can start growing again.
