In the Hot Wheels Forza Horizon 5 expansion, players will find several new vehicles, biomes, and quests. There are 534 vehicles in the base game alone, so players may find it difficult to choose the right vehicle for each mission. In addition, in some missions, players will have to use cars belonging to certain classes, which separate the cars according to their characteristics. Some of the ten new cars added in the Hot Wheels add-on could also be great for completing new missions.

For off-road missions, such as the icy terrain in the newly added Ice Cauldron region, players can select the 2013 Baja Bone Shaker vehicle. The big wheels will make it easier to move across rough terrain, and players can unlock this new vehicle by completing the Hot Wheels Expedition and then heading to the Hot Wheels Park. Another good option for off-road driving is the 2020 SIERRA Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA. Weighing just 1,100 pounds, this is an ultra-light car with a carbon fiber body. Thanks to its lightweight frame, this SUV in Forza Horizon 5 can reach speeds of up to 140 mph. To unlock the 2020 SIERRA Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA, players will have to complete the tough task of winning the Hot Wheels Goliath competition and becoming a Hot Wheels Legend.
One of the new Hot Wheels add-on cars, the 1993 Schuppan 962CR, is one of the fastest on the list. With a top speed of 230 mph and a water-cooled 3.3-liter Type-935 Flat 6 engine with two turbochargers, this car can be a lifesaver for almost any high-speed race. This car is a great choice for players looking to complete the Horizon Nexus fast tracks in 1:30 or less with an S1 class car, which is also required to unlock the 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro. In order to unlock the Speedy Schuppan, players need to complete the “Now It’s Pod Racing” Expert Qualification. Another car in Forza Horizon 5 built for speed is the 2018 SUBARU WRX STI ARX supercar, which accelerates from 0 to 60 in two seconds. To obtain this vehicle, players will need to start from the Hot Wheels outpost in an S1 class vehicle and complete the Treetops Speed Trap in 1:30 or less.
Missions and Hot Wheels vehicles
If players want to meet the three minutes and fifteen seconds time limit on Hammer Mountain as quickly as possible, they should use the fastest Class B cars. These include the 2016 Honda Type R or the 2018 Exomotive Exocet Off-road. Players should be able to purchase a Honda Type R 2016 in the showroom. With a speed of 6.5 and one of the fastest B-class cars in Forza Horizon 5, players will have no trouble getting to the dragon in time while driving their 2016 Honda Type R. Meanwhile, the 2018 Exomotive Exocet SUV is equipped with oversized tires and a chassis steel pipes and has a speed of 4.5.
One of the toughest challenges at the Hot Wheels Academy is the Hot Wheels Park Tour. To successfully complete this challenge, players need to drive a class A car through three different regions in less than four minutes. The three regions that players will need to drive through are Forest Falls, Giant’s Canyon, and Ice Cauldron. One of the best A-Class vehicles for this Forza Horizon 5 challenge is the 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-SPEC, available from the dealership for 37,000CR. Alternatively, players can choose the 2008 Mitsubishi Lanser Evolution X GSR.
