How to make money fast in Ghostwire: Tokyo

Meika is the in-game currency in Ghostwire: Tokyo. You will use this coin to purchase healing items, outfits, emotes, katashiro, KK’s Notes, and other valuable items. That’s why you want your wallet to explode with make-up every chance you get.

How to quickly get Meika (money)

At the time of writing this guide, no exploits or bugs have been found to mine meika. There are no quick and easy solutions here. However, there are many ways to get Meika in the game, and we will cover them in this article.

Complete side missions

Before starting any side mission, you can open the map, select the mission you want to complete and check its reward. All available missions, including both main and side missions, will give you a make-up upon completion (among other things).

Note: The amount you can earn is around 4,000 meiki, which will allow you to buy a few consumables, but not enough for the most expensive items.

Destroy the golden crystal aethers

Wherever you go, you will find golden objects in the form of pots everywhere. They can float in markets or over the roofs of houses, and when destroyed, they give from 200 to 300 meik.

However, the real happiness is to find a maneki-neko, a golden cat figurine waving. These figurines always yield thousands of meiki, making them more useful than pots, although they are harder to find.

Tip: To find crystallized ethers faster, you can use spectral vision. They will be highlighted in blue and you can easily recognize them by their shape.

Defeat big enemies

In about half of the main story missions, you will find a new kind of visitor: the Merciless Walker. They are deadly evil spirits with umbrellas, very fashionable clothes and a big hammer. Besides the fact that they are quite strong guys, as a reward for defeating them, you will receive thousands of meiki.

Unfortunately, there is no way to make them always appear in the same place. You will encounter the Merciless Walker in certain missions (both main and secondary) as well as clearing the Hyakki Yako (large visitor parade). During normal exploration of the streets of Tokyo, they appear quite rarely.

Nekomata Rewards

As you progress through Chapter 2: Trouble, you’ll find special shops called “Nekomata Craft” that sell unique items such as KK Notes, Magatama, and more. However, the most important thing you should pay attention to is the requests for Nekomata Relics, available only in these markets.

Basically, each Nekomata has its own series of item requests that you need to find for them. The cute cat, the owner of the shop, will give you a make-up depending on which relic you found. There are over 100 relics in total in the game, and you can earn up to 50,000 make. This is the most lucrative activity you can do in the game, although finding every single relic can be tricky as they are found almost everywhere.

Note: In addition, if you complete multiple requests, these special shops will reward you with special bonuses such as exclusive outfits and emotes. You can check completed tasks in the “Mission” menu.

Find Prosperity Beads

The last tip on how to earn as much meiki as possible is to find special beads: beads of prosperity. When this item is equipped, it will give you a bonus that will increase the amount of money you receive by doubling the amount of meiki you can earn by breaking Golden Crystallized Aether.

In order to get this item, you first need to find the Chishima Shrine located in the western part of the city. After clearing the corresponding torii gate, you will be able to enter the shrine and retrieve this item.
